Cataphoresis

Why do we use Cataphoresis after Electrolysis?
Despite its effectiveness, cataphoresis is often neglected or forgotten by other professionals. Nevertheless, this post-epilatory treatment makes the difference between Accurate Electrolysis treatments from other practitioners.

Cataphoresis offers many benefits. It can reduce the warm sensation, and redness which can be caused by electrolysis. Also, the electrical current stimulates the sebaceous gland which will secrete basic sebum. The hair follicle then becomes a potential area for the effect of the production of bacteria proliferation. The best reason to use cataphoresis after electrolysis is to produce vasoconstriction of the follicular ostiums and restore the pH balance of the skin, in order to prevent any infection.

Cataphoresis is an integrated option in the electrolysis machines that we carry, and it is done by applying an ionizable product on the skin using the positive pole. By using ionizable products, we maximize the effect of cataphoresis and the active ingredients of the product will penetrate deep into the skin of our clients for its utmost benefit.

The redness that can be produced by our treatments is significantly reduced by the means of this option, which will bactericide and germicide the area, and in around 30 to 45 minutes after your treatment is performed you will see your skin almost completely normal. This after-treatment care makes a big difference between our treatments and the treatment you could have with other professionals. We do care profoundly in performing a correct and very professional hair removal treatment but we also care about the healing process that your skin will need to go through after the electrolysis.
